This blueprint is made with cyanotype, a printing technique that produces striking cyan-blue images. When also placed in a soda solution it becomes light yellow. The intensity of color and detail varies. No two prints are ever the same. Read here more about the technique.

This image is made on khadi paper. Khadi paper is beautiful and strong handmade paper made of 100% cotton in fabric (rags) glued with gelatin. This paper has a long fiber with an uneven surface and ragged edges, which gives the artwork a natural look.
