I am so excited! In June 2025 my new art collection will be exhibited in Magasin Horaz in The Hague.
I have been working on cyanotype for a while and this exhibition will be the first time my work ‘Echoes from nature’ is to be seen. It is an ode to mother nature and her self-evident presence that has an inestimable value for us humans.
Trees are our closest relatives
What trees exhale, we inhale;
what we exhale, they inhale
They are half of our respiratory system

The relationship between people and nature is slowly fading. We need to strengthen that bond, because the connection with it can give us a sense of peace and reflection and help us slow down. We need nature and nature needs us! Let’s make sure that future generations also grow up with care for the world around them.
Mother earth has always taken care of us, she is resilient and flexible, it is now up to us to take care of nature.
The slow photographic process of cyanotype led me to create this collection. It is one of the oldest photographic techniques that exists. This method allows me to capture and immortalize the delicate shapes of flowers on paper.
So: Let’s love and take care of nature…
